2013 celebrates 200 years of Verdi’s birth. Philip Gossett, one of the greatest scholars of Verdi's work, as well as General Editor of The Works of Giuseppe Verdi (The University of Chicago Press and Casa Ricordi) will participate in a colloquium about the life and works of Verdi together with Jeffrey Kallberg (Professor of Music History, Associate Dean for Arts and Letters at University of Pennsylvania).
