There is nowhere better to celebrate the Fourth of July than the place where it all began – Independence Hall. Join in on this patriotic ceremony to celebrate both Philadelphia and the United States.
The ceremony is part of Wawa Welcome America’s week-long series of events celebrating independence, and will have many special guests present. There will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence, Mayor Jim Kenney’s Magis Award presentation, the reveal of the Wawa Foundation Hero Award winner and Freedom Mortgage’s Celebrate Freedom Award.
This event is free to all, however there is limited seating so make sure to arrive early to claim your spot. It begins at 10am and will be broadcasted on NBC10 at 6pm.
The event is sponsored by Freedom Mortgage and Visit Philadelphia, and produced in partnership with the Office of City Representative.
