Citizen Diplomacy International is organizing an American Summer Experience, celebrating CDI 61st birthday - formerly known as IVC BBQ.

On Wednesday, July 22 you have two ways to support mutual understanding, peace, and a more accurate image of the United States:

#1. Attend CDI’s fun event where you can quickly meet lots of people in just seconds at the fast and funny S-p-e-e-d Networking where you get 29 seconds to introduce yourself before the annoying whistle signals it’s time to move on for another 29 seconds. Then, throughout the rest of the evening you’ll have time to get to know everyone you met. And stop by the “I Don’t Know Anyone Tables” where you’ll be warmly welcomed – or be the one doing the welcoming! There’s great food, French and Italian wines, local craft beers and gluten-free selections in both food and drink! And a live band for dancing. Purchase tickets here.

#2. Enter the Restaurant Drawing where 100 dinners and lunches will be won by 22 lucky winners. And you don’t need to be present to win! Click here to see the list of restaurants, 6abc’s Nydia Han will announce the winners at exactly 7:30 p.m.

All funds raised go to Citizen Diplomacy International’s work with the U.S. Department of State and the City of Philadelphia to make friends around the world.

Make friends. Make contacts. Make peace.®
