Basic Dabke Workshop

Join us at the Al-Bustan Hub for a Dabke dance workshop on January 21st at 1PM.  Dabke is lively dance done in a line with dancers holding hands and moving in unison from the Levantine.  It's a celebratory dance performed at weddings and various other celebrations. Participants will learn fundamental Dabke steps and have the opportunity to explore the fancy footwork of a Dabke line leader.  Bring your friends and wear comfortable clothing.
