BALA CYNWYD: Daria: A Celebration of World Music

Join us in the celebration of National Native American Month. Daria will take us on a world tour of music and children will become part of the musical celebration by playing rhythm instruments, including: box drums, talking drums, shekeres, and rattles made from the jawbone of a donkey! This special performance will feature Native American instruments, songs, and traditions from Indigenous cultures around the world. World music children's performer, Daria, has spent over two decades performing in the US and around the world. This program will be outside, rain date: November 12. Masks are recommended. Appropriate for all ages, online registration required. Funding for this program has been provided by PA Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
