A World Cup-style tournament held over several months, the Philadelphia International Unity Cup unites the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer. The brainchild of Mayor Jim Kenney, the Unity Cup became an annual tradition after its massively successful inaugural year in 2016. Matches of the day include Puerto Rico vs. Indonesia and Ukraine vs. Brazil.

Free Exhibition of more than 250 examples of “real photo postcards” a popular and wide-spread type that were produced by professional and amateur photographers alike between 1904 and 1918. These extraordinary images depict Philadelphia at the zenith of its industrial prosperity. Of particular note are the scores of pictures of children who played on the streets of the ever-growing row-house neighborhoods of the Workshop of the World. Presented by The Athenaeum

The Hold For Startup Global Event- CIBER event will be held at Alter Hall 702 – MBA Commons on September 26, 2017 from 8:30am to 5:15pm.

The 12th Annual Golf Outing will once again take place at the Lulu Country Club at North Hills, PA. The Golf outing is a fundraiser benefiting local charities. The outing will be followed by dinner with silent and live auctions.

Join us for an evening to celebrate the city of Philadelphia with the opening of our new art exhibit in collaboration with the Da Vinci Art Alliance and a special film screening with the Global Philadelphia Association.
