A World Cup-style tournament held over several months, the Philadelphia International Unity Cup unites the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer. The brainchild of Mayor Jim Kenney, the Unity Cup became an annual tradition after its massively successful inaugural year in 2016. Matches of the day include Puerto Rico vs. Indonesia and Ukraine vs. Brazil.

This year we'll be celebrating immigrant entrepreneurs as they announce the third class of the Innovators Walk of Fame.


This global EF conference, in partnership with the City of Malaga and Malaga Valley, is co-sponsored by two separate EF Country Chapters: Spain and Jordan, working across different regions, united by a common theme, and will put on center stage a dramatic example of collaboration between Eisenhower Fellows across national borders and regions.

The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF) is the first event of its kind in Philadelphia – an award winning annual film festival celebrating and elevating the Asian American experience each November.


CENFAD's event will be a talk by the journalist Stephen Kinzer who is promoting his book The True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the Birth of American Empire.

Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts and librettist Mark Campbell, the team behind the acclaimed Silent Night, return to Opera Philadelphia for the world premiere of a chamber opera based on Peter Ackroyd's "downright exhilarating" (LA Times) novel, The Trial of Elizabeth Cree.
