The World Youth Orchestra only for strings is formed by fourteen young musicians (7 Italians and 7 Americans) selected through auditions to be part of the WYO foundation. The musicians come from the most prestigious music schools in Italy and in the USA. In particular, the American musicians come from the Curtis Institute (Philadelphia) and Juilliard School (New York).
