Visit Japan without leaving Philadelphia! Sakura Sunday is an all-day celebration of traditional and contemporary Japan with live music, dance, and martial arts performances, fashion shows, arts and crafts, karaoke, and much more.

Sakura Sunday is held at Fairmount Park’s Horticulture Center, home to hundreds of blooming cherry trees – including two from 1926. Bring family, friends, pets, and a picnic and enjoy a beautiful day of arts and culture beneath the blossoms!

Do you offer ACCESS card discounts? Yes, we offer $5 tickets for ACCESS card holders who purchase tickets the day of the festival.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Paid parking is available at the Mann Music Center for $10, use 4800 States Drive, Philadelphia 19131 in your GPS. Shuttle bus service departs regularly from the south side of Market Street across from 30th Street Station beginning at 9 AM. If you're using a taxi or ride service, please use 4300 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia 19131 for easiest drop off/pick up.

What can I bring into the event? Food, drinks, blankets, and folding chairs are welcome. Please DO NOT bring alcohol, BBQ or grilling appliances, tents or canopies.

What's the refund policy? Sakura Sunday is a rain or shine event. All sales are final. No refunds will be given.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Printed tickets are not necessary, but are helpful for speedy entry into the festival.

Can I update my registration information? Yes; please contact [email protected] to update your registration.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes; please contact [email protected] to transfer your ticket.

Is it okay if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.
