This annual event, hosted by the Johnson House Historic Site in Germantown, commemorates the passing and ratification of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which abolished slavery in the United States.

Features all day family oriented activities: freedom walk and parade, panel discussion examining a pressing community social issue, historical reenactments, food and drink marketplace, performance arts, exhibits, vendor marketplace, information resource tables, and guided historic tours.
