The Asian Mosaic Fund Giving Circle will be hosting a grant-writing workshop for nonprofits on June 20, 2012 at the Philadelphia Foundation. There is no fee to attend the workshop, however, space is limited and participants are encouraged to register by June 13. The workshop presenter is Michelle S. Gollapalli, MBA, CFRE, CAP, who is the Chief Development Officer at the American Pain Foundation.

The Asian American Fund Giving Circle is comprised of a diverse group of multi-generational donors committed to advancing the well being of the Greater Philadelphia Asian community.

Funds from Asian Mosaic Fund members and other contributors are collected by The Philadelphia Foundation, where the Asian Mosaic Fund is a donor-advised fund. The funds are professionally managed by The Philadelphia Foundation until donations are granted to nonprofit organizations as directed by Asian Mosaic Fund members.

Attendees will learn about the AMF Giving Circle’s upcoming 2012 grantmaking objectives, proposal timeline and process, and a variety of useful grantwriting tips and resources to be applied to all other grantwriting endeavors. The AMF will award capacity building grants of $3,000-$5,000 to organizations serving the Philadelphia Asian community. Organizations with budgets of $500,000 or less will be given priority.

If you have any additional questions about the workshop, please contact Mia Aronson at [email protected].
