Nationalities Service Center’s Global Tastes 2017

Nationalities Service Center (NSC) invites you to attend Global Tastes 2017, an evening of delicious food and great music in celebration of the diverse international communities.

A VIP reception will precede the event at NSC, 1216 Arch Street 4th Floor, from 5-6pm. At this event, Cristina Martinez, chef and co-owner of South Philly Barbacoa, will receive the Nationalities Service Award to honor her immigrant journey from Mexico to establish one of the country’s top ten new restaurants, according to Bon Appétit. The event will also honor Dr. Marc Altshuler and the Jefferson Department of Family and Community Medicine with the Margaret Harris Award for their extensive work promoting health access for the region’s immigrants and refugees.
