KieranTimberlake Lecture

Wednesday, October 5, 2011 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm
The Athenaeum 219 S. 6th St.
Philadelphia, PA 19106
United States

Established in Philadelphia in 1984, KieranTimberlake is an internationally recognized architecture firm, recipient of numerous honors including the 2008 AIA Architecture Firm Award and 2010 Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award. By undertaking a path of research into new materials and potential technologies that alter fabrication and delivery methods and influence the way we live in our environments, KieranTimberlake reshapes our expectations of architecture.

Join Stephen Kieran and James Timberlake to celebrate the launch of their fifth book, a reflection on the last decade of inquisitive approaches to their clients’ needs, as well as the needs of the environment, and how that has broadened their vision of the relationship between process, craft, and form.

Reception and book signing to follow.

Free for Athenaeum members. $10 for non-members. RSVP to Susan Gallo at 215-925-2688 or [email protected]
