GIC Central Bankers Series Presents: Economic Development and the Banking Sector in Nigeria, featuring Dr. Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, in charge of the Financial System Stability (FSS) Directorate. He is responsible for the implementation of far-reaching reforms to enhance the quality and stability of banks and other financial institutions. He supervises the following Departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria: Financial Policy and Regulation Department, Banking Supervision Department, Other Financial Institutions Supervision Department, and the Development Finance Department. He is also a member of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria's Economic Management Team (EMT).
