SUOMI FINLAND IS 100 YEARS OLD!

As we celebrate Finland’s milestone birthday this year, the Finnish-American Society of the Delaware Valley and New Sweden Alliance have invited Ameriikan Poijat, a popular 7-member brass band from Minneapolis, MN (ameriikanpoijat.org) to perform in Iltamat at the American Swedish Historical Museum in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 9 at 7pm and entertain us with familiar Finnish songs, dance tunes and concert pieces. Since the event is also a fundraiser, we hope to get a full house, so bring your family and friends along!  Joulupukki = Finnish Santa will be there, too, bringing holiday cheer to all...
