Arcadia University Student Peace Conference

The "Engaging Peace" Conference will be an interdisciplinary forum for connecting efforts and ideas relating to the fields of peace studies and conflict resolution. The conference will consist of student research panels, workshops, and practitioner sessions. This structure offers students, academics and practitioners a dialectic learning and mentoring environment. The theme of this conference, "Engaging Peace," is designed to showcase and celebrate a broad spectrum of innovative approaches and ideas in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, both domestically and abroad.

Arcadia University and the Peace Center invite recent graduates, undergraduate and graduate students to attend and submit paper, poster and photo essay proposals for the Engaging Peace Conference.Special attention will be given to those proposals that fall within the following categories:

• International politics, law & governance
• Public health & the environment
• Peace education
• Culture &
• Healing, reconciliation & conflict transformation

Submissions should be submitted as either a Microsoft Word or PDF attachment to the following email address: peaceconference@arcadia.edu. This event is free to all student participants. It includes three complimentary meals and the opportunity for students to gain meaningful experience presenting their research, bolster their resumes and network with other students, academics and practitioners in the field.
